Hey everyone.
So, sorry it took so long for me to post anything. I've actually had this blog for months now, and this is the first time I'm using it. haha! Anywho, I shall be leaving for Denmark this Saturday, July 31 at about 11:45am from Syracuse. 5 days!!! :O
Here is a general outline of my crazy flight schedule:
Syracuse, NY to Chicago, IL. Chicago to Frankfurt, Germany. Frankfurt to Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen to Billund, Denmark!
I should be arriving in Billund around 3:15 (Danish time), and traveling to my first host family's home in Skive, Denmark. So far, I only know the information of my first host family. There are three children in the family- one son whom is 15 years old, and two daughters whom are 14 and 17. I will be living on a very large farm-400 hectares (988 acres). They own 720 pigs, 7 horses, and 1 labrador. Very excited about the horses! :D
I will have two more host families throughout the year.
I know for sure that I am excited, but I am also sad to leave friends and family here in the US. It's going to be an awesome year most definitely! I will be sure to write often about anything and everything.
